You can now provide specific images and PDF guidelines to contentAI for individual PR and link placements.

We might be counting down to the new year, but the engineering team at SearchEye is still shipping.

Today, we are excited to announce a significant update to our ordering workflow that gives brands unprecedented control over how they are represented in AI-generated content.

We know that while speed and scale are crucial in digital PR, brand accuracy and safety are non-negotiable. Until now, ensuring specific visual assets or precise technical guardrails made it into AI-assisted content required manual intervention after the fact.

Starting today, you can guide contentAI right from the initial request.

Introducing Request-Level Asset Uploads

We have added a new functionality to the “Additional Information” section of our order form.

When placing a specific request for a PR piece or link placement, you can now upload brand assets—such as product images, screenshots, or PDF brand guidelines—directly into that specific order.

Why This Matters

contentAI is powerful, but it doesn’t know your brand nuance until you teach it. By supplying these assets at the point of request, you ensure:

  1. Visual Accuracy: Stop relying on generic stock photography. Ensure the actual screenshot of your software or the correct packshot of your product appears in reviews and listicles.

  2. Enhanced Brand Safety: Uploading PDF guidelines provides guardrails. If you have specific compliance language or technical specs that must be accurate, the PDF serves as the source of truth for contentAI.

  3. Better GEO Footprint: Improving your brand’s presence in Generative Engine Optimization (GEO) relies heavily on associating high-quality visuals with your brand entity. This feature makes that easier than ever.

Under the Hood: How contentAI Uses Your Assets

When you upload a file, our system doesn’t just attach it; it analyzes it.

  • Image Analysis: contentAI scans uploaded images to understand context. It determines if the image is best suited as a high-impact “featured image” or a contextual inline image within a tutorial or review.

  • PDF Context: Textual documents are parsed to extract essential information, ensuring that product descriptions and claims made in the generated article align with your official documentation.

Use Cases: When to Use This Feature

This feature is designed for specific, targeted campaigns. We recommend using it when:

  • Launching a New Product: Ensure the exact new product imagery is used in placements.

  • Requesting Specific Reviews: Provide a spec sheet PDF so the reviewer (and the AI) gets the technical details right.

  • Targeting Listicles: Ensure your logo or product thumbnail looks correct alongside competitors.

A Quick Note on Co-Pilot vs. Request Level

If you are a SearchEye Co-Pilot user, you already know you can upload global brand assets to your Knowledge Graph.

Think of it this way:

  • SearchEye Co-Pilot is for evergreen assets (logos, general mission statements) that apply to everything you do.

  • This new feature is for specific assets that apply only to the single request you are making right now.

Frequently
Asked Questions

Not always. While contentAI prioritizes your assets, the final decision lies with the publisher. If an image is too promotional, low resolution, or doesn't fit the editorial style of the publication, it may be excluded to ensure the article is accepted.

Assets uploaded to Co-Pilot are "global"—they are used across every request you make to build a consistent brand presence. Assets uploaded here in the Additional Information section are "local"—they apply only to this specific request. Use this feature for specific product launches, unique angles, or one-off campaigns.

We currently support standard image formats (JPG, PNG, WebP) for visuals and PDF files for documents and guidelines. Please ensure images are high-resolution to increase the likelihood of acceptance.
